71-Year-Old Sharon Hente Hospitalized after Lincoln County Pedestrian Crash on Missouri 47 near Brooks Lane
Lincoln County, Missouri (December 6, 2018) – A 71-year-old woman from Winfield was injured when a vehicle hit her on Wednesday afternoon in Lincoln County, as per a police report.
The incident was reported at about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, on Missouri 47 near Brooks Lane.
The police said a 1999 Jeep Cherokee was traveling west on Missouri 47 when the pedestrian, Sharon Hente, 71, of Winfield, attempted to cross the road. The driver of the Jeep, 67-year-old Florence Czaicki of Winfield, attempted to avoid Hente by swerving to the left but the vehicle’s right side struck the pedestrian.
Hente sustained minor injuries from the hit and was transported to SSM Health St. Joseph in Lake St. Louis by Lincoln County Ambulance District.
