Mansfield Teen Kaytyln Johnston Hurt in Wright County Crash on Missouri 5

Wright County, Missouri (December 6, 2018) – A 19-year-old woman from Mansfield was hurt in an accident involving two vehicles on Wednesday afternoon in Wright County, according to State Patrol.
The accident took place around 3:25 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, on Missouri 5 at London Road.
Authorities said the crash occurred when a 2011 Jeep Cherokee, driven northbound by Carla Gantt, 63, of Mansfield, failed to yield and traveled into the path of a 2002 Ford F350 that was heading south.
Kaytyln Johnston, 19, of Mansfield, a passenger in the Jeep, sustained minor injuries in the crash and was taken to Mercy Springfield by Mercy Ambulance.
Police confirmed that all people involved in the accident were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the crash.
