Nancy Herren Killed in Bollinger County Collision on Route KK

Bollinger County, Missouri (December 6, 2018) –A 54-year-old Cape Girardeau driver was killed on Tuesday afternoon when she was ejected from her vehicle during a crash in Bollinger County, according to a police report.
The incident took place around 2:32 p.m.Tuesday, December 4, on Route KK west of Route B.
The MSHP said a 2004 Ford Taurus, for unknown reasons, ran off the side of the roadway. The driver, 54-year-old Nancy Herren, overcorrected and struck the embankment before rolling over. Police said the driver, who was not wearing her seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle.
Herren was the only occupant of the vehicle at the time of the accident and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The authorities are conducting an investigation into the incident.
