2 People Injured in Camden County Accident on Route MM near Villages Way
Camden County, Missouri (December 9, 2017) – Two drivers were left injured Friday evening when their vehicles collided in Camden County, the local authorities reported.
The accident took place at about 5:37 p.m. December 7, on Route MM near Villages Way.
As per the report, a 2014 Dodge Charger, driven by Casey A. Marks, 28, of Camdenton, was on an emergency run when it was struck by a 2016 Ford Escape, driven by Danielle J. Borett, 30, of Sunrise Beach. Borett was attempting a left turn from the shoulder of the road when she hit the Dodge.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said Borret suffered minor injuries and was transported by Lakewest Ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital for treatment. Marks sustained serious injuries and was transported by Lakewest Ambulance to Lake Regional Hospital but was later transferred to University Hospital by Staff for Life.
According to the report, the Ford sustained extensive damage and was towed by Hi-Tech. The Dodge had total damage and was towed by Bradshaw’s.
