Driver and Passenger Hurt in Cole County Accident on Route C
Cole Country, Missouri (December 6, 2018) – Two elderly Jefferson residents sustained minor injuries when the vehicle they were in collided with another Wednesday evening in Cole County, MSHP said.
The wreck occurred at about 4:39 p.m. Wednesday, December 5, on Route C at Route V.
According to the MSHP, a 2013 Nissan Rogue and a 2008 Toyota Sienna were westbound on Route C when 20-year-old Madison Morris of Wardsville, the driver of the Nissan, failed to see the Toyota and slammed into its rear.
The driver of the Toyota, Charles Gue, 83, and his 81-year-old passenger Anne Gue, both from Jefferson City, suffered minor injuries in the crash. Both victims were taken to Capital Region Medical Center by a private vehicle.
MSHP said both vehicles were moderately damaged in the accident. The Nissan was taken from the scene by a family member while the Toyota was driven from the scene.
