Marthasville Teen Madison Buchheit Hurt in Franklin County Collision on Missouri Route A
Franklin County, Missouri (November 7, 2018) – A 17-year-old girl from Marthasville was injured in a car accident in Franklin County on Tuesday evening, police said.
The accident occurred at around 5:45 p.m. Tuesday, November 6 on Missouri Route A at Missouri Route BB.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 2011 Subaru Forester, driven by Douette Davis, 64, of Beaufort, was traveling northbound on Route BB at the intersection of Route A. A 2007 Chevrolet Cobalt, driven by Romeo Shamoun, was heading south on Route A. Davis failed to stop at a stop sign and entered the intersection, where the Subaru struck the Chevrolet head-on.
MSHP said 17-year-old Madison Buchheit of Marthasville, a passenger in the Chevrolet, sustained minor injuries. She was taken to Mercy Hospital Washington by Washington Ambulance.
Both vehicles were extensively damaged and towed by Sturm’s Towing.
