Sacramento Driver Hospitalized after Worth County Collision on MO-46 near Grant City
Worth County, Missouri (November 14, 2018) – A female driver from Sacramento was hospitalized after a Worth County traffic accident on Tuesday night, as per a police report.
The incident took place on Missouri 46 west of Grant City at around 8:12 p.m. Tuesday, November 13.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a 1995 Chrysler Concorde was eastbound on MO-46 when it crossed the center line. The Chrysler traveled across the westbound lane and hit a concrete bridge rail, before coming to a rest upright on its wheels facing eastbound.
59-year-old Nola E. Olney of Sacramento, the driver of the Chrysler, sustained major injuries. Nola was taken to Mosaic Life Care of St. Joseph by Lifenet.
The police confirmed that the driver of the Chrysler was wearing a safety belt at the time of the crash.
The incident is under investigation.
