Luz Rangel Injured in Jasper County Accident on I-49 near MO 96
Jasper County, Missouri (November 7, 2017) – Two vehicles were involved in a collision that sent one person to a hospital on Tuesday evening in Jasper County, the authorities said.
The accident took place at about 5:35 p.m. November 6, on I-49 south of MO 96 in Carthage City.
As per the report, a 2007 Peterbilt Semi driven by Legusta J. Rodan, 50, of De Valls, attempted to change lanes and struck a 2005 Ford Focus driven by Luz Rangel, 57, of Diamond. The two vehicles were northbound on I-49 when the crash occurred.
The State Patrol officials said Rangel suffered minor injuries and was transported to Freeman West Hospital in Joplin for treatment.
According to the report, the Peterbilt sustained moderate damage and was driven from the scene. The Ford had extensive damage and was towed by Hoods Towing.
